Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name can be spelled by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015, and received great reviews from both music bloggers as well as the media. The singer has released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis to promote a Christmas ad by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry's support for her track Runaway in a blog post added to the musician's acknowledgement. Enjoy the celebration of this special event. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memory involves finding a small piano hidden in the basement, and bewildered by the sound it created. Parents May-Britt along with Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a profession or a pastime, but to grow. They inspired her to write. As well as Bjork, she cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her mother was supportive of her performing her music publicly, not to gain fame but rather to let others know that they matter and how they can make a difference for the world. The piano was first played by her when she was only six and began writing music when she was nine. It wasn't until her 14th birthday when she shared her story with her parents. Aurora had no idea of being famous. The only thing she loves is to write music. She believes music can make people feel more relaxed.
