Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been an outstanding professor of psychology since 1993. She is also the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She is widely acclaimed for pioneering the study of child witnesses and eyewitness memories within legal contexts. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive She has also received a number of grants and is the recipient of numerous awards international and national levels. She has advised numerous authorities and government agencies around all over the world on policy and research relating to the treatment of children victims by the legal system. She serves as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly known as Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a Fellow in the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Practice and Policy American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 57). Professor Goodman is a member of Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding Member) International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the president of American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy as well as Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
